Samsung is planning to launch a new affordable fitness tracker, and it will likely be called the Galaxy Fit 4. Its basic design layout and some of its specifications leaked a few months ago. Now, the design has surfaced once again, revealing its color variants.
The Galaxy Fit 4 will likely launch in three colors: black, green, and white. Images of all three variants were published on a Telegram channel called The Cipher Project. Based on the images, the device seems to have a bigger screen than its predecessor, the Galaxy Fit 3. It also features a physical button on the right side, which could be the power button, while the bezel around the screen appears to be silver.
From a previous leak, we know that the Galaxy Fit 4 features Bluetooth 5.4 (with EDR) connectivity. As with most fitness trackers on the market, it has an optical heart rate monitor on the back.
Not much else is known about the device, but it will likely run an RTOS instead of Google's Wear OS to keep costs down. It isn't clear if Samsung has added built-in GPS for more accurate tracking during outdoor workouts like cycling, running, and walking. The wearable could offer at least a week-long battery life on a single charge.
