There have been many indications that Samsung will hold an Unpacked event early next month to unveil its 2025 foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and potentially the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.

The company hasn't officially confirmed the date as yet, but a reliable tipster has now claimed that the next Samsung Unpacked event is going to take place on July 9.

This comes from @evleaks on X, who posted today that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will happen on July 9 at 10AM EDT. The EDT time zone also makes it quite clear that the event will happen in New York City, as it's the largest city in the eastern time zone, and Samsung has a long history of hosting Unpacked events in the Big Apple.

Samsung itself dropped a major indication last week about the event being held in New York City. It announced a series of Samsung Health-related events in New York City for runners and users of Galaxy wearable devices, starting from July 13. The company is also expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 8 and a new Galaxy Watch Ultra at the next Unpacked event.

The July 9 event would be held exactly a year and one day after Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 at its Unpacked event in Paris on July 10 last year. It officially confirmed the date for that event on June 26, 2024, so it's quite likely that we'll see an official confirmation regarding this year's Unpacked next week.
