Samsung revealed its latest custom Android interface, One UI 9.0 (Android 17), by releasing its beta version for the Galaxy S26 lineup in May. Now, after almost three months, the brand appears to have stopped accepting new participants in it, strongly suggesting that it may release the stable version soon.
Samsung has posted a notice in the Galaxy S26 series One UI 9.0 beta program section of the Samsung Members app stating that recruitment for the beta program has ended (via Samsung Community). However, it also says that the beta program is still ongoing, suggesting that existing participants can continue testing the software.
This could mean that Samsung is nearing the end of the One UI 9.0 beta program, although it is unclear whether the company will release another beta version before rolling out the stable update.
