Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 (Android 17) update for the Galaxy A37 in the US. The update was first released in South Korea and Europe yesterday, and the new software is now available more widely, including in parts of Asia.
The One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy A37 is currently available for the carrier-locked variant with firmware version A376USQU5BZI6 and the factory-unlocked variant with firmware version A376U1UEU5BZI6. Sadly, it does not include the October 2026 security patch.
If you have a Galaxy A37 and live in the US, we recommend checking for the new update by opening the Settings app on your phone, navigating to Software update, and tapping the Check for updates button. If the update is available for your device, it will start downloading.
Make sure your phone has at least a 30% battery charge so the update can be installed without any delay.
This new update brings a more customizable Quick Panel, a dedicated Warranty and care section in the Settings app, improved location access transparency, and a redesigned Samsung Health app. It also introduces a new version of Bixby powered by large language models, new Bixby widgets, and a more customizable lock screen clock widget.
