As we reported earlier, One UI 8 is coming as soon as this month. We also showcased early internal builds of the upcoming software. Now, a new report has revealed that One UI 8.0 will bring a new design that improves usability.
The Samsung Reminder app, which received new features the One UI 7, will get a better design with One UI 8. X user @theordysm has revealed that the app's home page will look simpler than earlier. The Categories section will appear on the top of the home screen rather than in the hamburger menu on the left side of the home screen. As a result, the home screen looks simpler and easier to use.

There are six Category cards that appear on the top of the home screen: Today, Scheduled, Important, Place, No Alert, and Completed. Below those cards, you can find recent reminders. If you feel that the categories at the top are taking too much space, you can minimize their size by scrolling down.
There is also a slight change in the design of the text field at the bottom which is used for adding reminders. The Plus icon now appears inside the text field (on the left side) instead of being a separate button on the right side of the text field. The Sort By button appears to have been removed as well.
For now, that's all we get from this leak about the upcoming version of Samsung Reminder. Since the One UI 8 Beta Program is expected to open in the coming days, we will soon get a much better idea about all stock Samsung apps.
