Samsung could launch its next high-end tablets in the third quarter of this year. The lineup is expected to include two models: the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. Now, the battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab S12+ has been revealed for the first time.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ has two battery variants: EB-BX846AAE and EB-BX846AAY. Both batteries have a rated capacity of 10,392mAh. Since the marketed battery capacity in Samsung devices is usually slightly higher than the rated capacity, the upcoming tablet could have a typical capacity of around 10,500mAh or 10,600mAh. This would make it about 4% to 5% larger than the battery in the Galaxy Tab S10+.

Over the past few years, Samsung has launched Plus-branded Galaxy tablets with 12.4-inch displays. So, the Galaxy Tab S12+ is expected to feature a similar 12.4-inch OLED screen with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz variable refresh rate. The device could be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500+ processor. It could have at least 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a microSD card slot.

Other features commonly found on high-end Galaxy tablets include a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, a bundled S Pen stylus with an IP68 rating, and support for at least 45W fast wired charging. There is currently no information about the tablet’s camera specifications.
