There's a lot of excitement for the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge launch. It's one of the thinnest smartphones that we've seen from Samsung yet and the striking design makes it a very compelling option for a lot of people.
Samsung hasn't officially confirmed as yet when this device is going to be launched. We exclusively told you way back on April 3 that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be launched on May 13. A new leak today has reconfirmed our report.
An image has been posted on X by @evleaks which is essentially a teaser for the Galaxy S25 Edge's launch. It reads “13 maggio 2025” alongside a silhouette of the Galaxy S25 Edge and the words “Beyond slim.”
Maggio, for those who need a refresher on their Italian, means May. This leak all but confirms what we had previously revealed, that the Galaxy S25 Edge is going to be unveiled on May 13. A recent report claimed that the device would first be released in South Korea and China about a week after its event. It would then make its way to the United States by May 30.
The device's biggest selling point is its 5.8mm slim profile and a striking metal build. It will have a 6.7-inch Super AMOELD display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device will compromise on its camera setup to achieve that slim profile, abandoning the telephoto camera altogether.
It's unclear how wide the global availability for this device will be. There were some reports before that indicated that the Galaxy S25 Edge's availability will be limited. That could be the case given the device's price point. The Galaxy S25 Edge price reportedly starts at ~$1,049 for the 256GB and ~$1,140 for the 512GB variants.
