One UI 8.5 brings several new features to Galaxy phones and tablets and is currently available in beta. Samsung is also preparing additional features for enthusiasts through an updated version of Good Lock and several of its modules. One of its highlights is Game Booster+, which introduces new gaming-focused capabilities for Galaxy devices.
Samsung has now revealed all the features coming with Good Lock and its updated modules, including Game Booster+, for devices running One UI 8.5. Game Booster+ allows users to play touchscreen-only games on Galaxy phones and tablets using a gamepad. You can map on-screen controls to buttons and triggers on a controller. You can also tweak CPU and GPU settings on a per-game basis to optimize gaming performance. This functionality replaces the existing ‘Turn on Game Booster GPU Settings' option.

Game Booster+ also has a new feature that allows you to fast-forward intro videos in games. When this feature is enabled, the introduction video plays quickly (fast-forward manner) so that you can start playing the game faster.

However, all these features will only be available on devices running One UI 8.5. Currently, the beta version of One UI 8.5 is available for only the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra in select countries. The stable version of the software could debut with the Galaxy S26 series next month.
