Samsung is expected to launch at least two new foldable phones and two new smartwatches next month during a Galaxy Unpacked event. The design of one of those smartwatches has been revealed, thanks to an eBay listing of a prototype device, and it confirms a Galaxy Watch Ultra-like design.

A month ahead of Samsung's announcement, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic's design has been revealed. A prototype version of the upcoming smartwatch has been listed on eBay with price of $202.5. It has a silver metal case (46mm) and a black stitched leather band. From its model number (SM-L505U), it appears that it is an LTE variant of the smartwatch for the American market.
The case looks pretty chunky and has a squircle design, just like the Galaxy Watch Ultra. However, it also has the fan-favorite rotating bezel, which looks a bit weird, at least in these images. It has three buttons on the right side and a pretty big loudspeaker on the left. It doesn't have standard strap connectors, so you can't use standard wrist bands with it like you can do with previous Galaxy Watches.
Its eBay listing also confirms that the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has 64GB of built-in storage. That is double of what the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra have. Previous reports claim that the Galaxy Watch 8 series will continue to use the Exynos W1000 chip used in the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra. It will run Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch software out of the box.
Other features of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic could include a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED circular screen with AOD, sapphire crystal glass, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, and 10W wireless charging. It will likely have an accelerometer, gyro, magnetic sensor, skin temperature sensor, ECG, heart rate sensor, and SpO2 measurement for health and fitness tracking.
