One would assume that since the Galaxy S Ultra is the most expensive out of all three models in the flagship series, it may not be selling in the same numbers as the other two models. However, that assumption would be untrue.
The Ultra models have consistently outperformed the other models despite Samsung asking top dollar for it. As it turns out, since launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra has outsold both the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ combined.
Hana Securities, a financial services firm based in South Korea, has revealed in a note to investors that Samsung's total smartphone sales came to 20.29 million units in March 2025. This includes all of the company's models. The sales were up 5% compared to February 2025 but down 2% compared to March 2024.
It's been two months since the Galaxy S25 series first went on sale. The firm says that the two-month cumulative sales of the Galaxy S25 series has hit 9.16 million units. 2.41 million units of the Galaxy S25 have been sold while 1.67 million of the Galaxy S25+.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra has done spectacularly well, selling 5.08 million units since its launch. Such has been the consumer interest in the top-of-the-line model that it has outsold its siblings by more than a million units.
It's unsurprising that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is the preferred choice for customers who want a phone from Samsung's latest flagship series. The Ultra models provide the best camera experience of any Samsung smartphone, they also offer the best hardware and software experience.
Even though much was made of the Bluetooth features being removed from the Galaxy S25 Ultra's S Pen, they clearly haven't stopped people from still opening up their wallets for this incredible device.
