Samsung has opened the One UI 8 Beta Program for the Galaxy S24 series in India. The update was released in South Korea and the UK yesterday, and Galaxy S24 series users in India expected that it would be released in their country on the same day. However, Samsung seems to have released the update one day later.
The One UI 8 Beta Program is now open for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in India. The beta update is available, and people who registered in the beta program have started getting it. The update comes with firmware version S92xBXXU9ZYH3 and has a download size of around 3.3GB. It also brings the August 2025 security patch to the devices.
If you have an eligible Galaxy S24 series device and live in India, you can beta-test One UI 8 on your phone. To do that, you have to install the Samsung Members app from the Galaxy Store or the Play Store. Once the app is installed, log into the app using the same Samsung Account you have been using on your Galaxy S24 device. Then, tap the One UI 8 Beta Program banner and register your device.
A few minutes later, head over to Settings » Software update on your phone and tap Download and install. Once the new beta update is downloaded completely on your Galaxy S24 series device, tap the Install now button. Your phone will restart after a few minutes, and you will be able to use the beta version of One UI 8. Make sure to report any bugs you encounter while using the beta software.
The update could soon be released for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 as well. Next month, the beta program will be opened for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in India, South Korea, the UK, and the USA.
