If a new rumor is to be believed, Samsung has the Galaxy Buds 5 FE in the pipeline which it may launch in the coming months.

It's claimed that even though there will be an improvement in audio quality, the company is not likely to raise the price.

This will come as a welcome sign as the prices of most, if not all, consumer electronics has been released this year. Much of it has largely been the fallout from the memory crisis which has necessitated considerable price hikes particularly for smartphones and tablets.

The FE earbuds may be spared a similar fate, as a tipster claims on X, with no price hike being expected. The previous version, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, were priced at $149 and that's where the Galaxy Buds 5 FE may be kept.

It's claimed that Samsung will improve the audio quality to bring it at par with at least the previous generation of the full-fledged Galaxy Buds, but no precise information about the changes likely to be made has been provided as yet.

Rumors and reports about these earbuds have been limited so far, so it remains to be seen if and when more information emerges that provides more clarity about what we can expect from Samsung's next pair of affordable wireless earbuds.
