Samsung’s 2025 TVs and smart monitors come with an AI-powered feature called Click to Search. It can provide information about the content that you are watching, including its name, description, ratings, and cast details, as well as recommend similar content to watch. To access it, you have to press the Galaxy AI button on the remote, and it shows all the info split between ‘Who's On' and ‘What's Next' tabs.
Well, the South Korean tech giant has announced that it is updating Click to Search on these models with an improved version of Bixby that is based on natural language processing. According to the brand, it allows people to talk to Bixby/Click to Search and ask it anything, offering a more natural interaction experience (you couldn't talk to the feature earlier). That't not all though.
Along with that, the update makes the feature work with terrestrial broadcasting, in addition to cable TV and Samsung TV Plus. The tech giant also says that it is considering making Click to Search work with OTT platforms as well in the near future, which will be very useful.

Commenting on the release of the update, Samsung Electronics Visual Display Business Divisions’ Executive Vice President, Lee Heon, said “Samsung has maintained the top spot in the global TV market for 19 consecutive years and has accumulated expertise in TV technology and consumer experience. We have implemented AI optimized for TV by carefully selecting only the core AI functions that provide real value to users.”
At the moment, there’s no information if Samsung is offering this change as an update to the OS or an app or as a server side change. There’s also no information if Samsung has started rolling out the change or not. Hopefully, we will get to know those details soon. For those of you who have a 2025 Samsung TV or monitor and still haven’t used this feature, you can access it by pressing the Galaxy AI button on your model’s remote.
