Last week, Samsung released software updates for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, which offered the March 2026 security patch. Back then, the brand rolled them out in its home country, South Korea, and now, the company has started offering these updates in more countries around the world.
Samsung is rolling out the March 2026 security patch for the Galaxy S25 series in Europe. The software updates for these devices, bringing the latest security patch, are 568.14MB in size and carry firmware versions S931BXXS8BZC1, S936BXXS8BZC1, and S938BXXS8BZC1 (via Tarun Vats). They fix 65 security issues.
To check if Samsung has made the latest Galaxy S25 software update available in your region, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
A few months ago, Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) beta program for the Galaxy S25 series, which let people enrolling their devices in it to experience the brand’s latest version of Android customisation before others. The brand is expected to end the program soon and release the stable version of the software to all Galaxy S25 users.
