Just last week, Samsung's new foldable smartphones and smartwatches went on pre-order in several markets globally. But the company isn't done launching new devices just yet. It appears that the South Korean firm is planning to launch three new tablets and an affordable 5G smartphone in India soon.
Reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that Samsung is preparing for the launch of the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy Tab S11, Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, and the Galaxy A17 5G in India. The launch will reportedly happen “soon,” but the tipster didn't offer a definitive timeline of this upcoming launch. The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite will be a lower mid-range tablet, while the Galaxy Tab S11 and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra are high-end tablets.
A recent report revealed that the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is equipped with the Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It runs Android 15 (One UI 7.0) out of the box and will get at least four major Android OS updates. It has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and an S Pen. It is powered by an 8,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast wired charging.
The Galaxy Tab S11 series appears to have just two models: Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The Plus model is missing. If you remember, Samsung didn't bring the base model to the Galaxy Tab S10 series. So, it looks like Samsung has decided to just launch two high-end tablets in each new tablet series. Samsung even confirmed that the tablets will launch later this year. Both those tablets feature the 3nm Dimensity 9400+ chip, which has excellent gaming performance.
The Galaxy A17 5G recently appeared in Finland's SGS Fimko certification database, revealing that it will be launched in Europe and the USA as well. It has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It will run Android 15 (One UI 7.0) out of the box and will likely get six major Android OS updates. It has a 50MP primary camera with OIS.
