Samsung is expected to launch three new smartwatches at its Galaxy Unpacked event next month. Those are the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. But only the Ultra model will have an attractive color option, if we are to believe a new report.
According to tipster @MysteryLupin on X, the Galaxy Watch 8 will come in 40mm and 44mm sizes, and have Graphite and Silver color options. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will reportedly be offered in just one size—46mm—and have two similarly boring color variants: Black and White. The Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) is said to come in three colors: Titanium Blue, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Silver.
So, if you don't like boring colors, you are likely to be disappointed by the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. The new Galaxy Watch Ultra's interesting color option is definitely Titanium Blue, and its renders were leaked last week.
All three upcoming Galaxy Watches are said to feature the same Exynos W1000 chip. The Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will likely retain 32GB of built-in storage space. The Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) will feature 64GB internal storage, which is 2x that of the Galaxy Watch Ultra. If you want to store a lot of music for offline playback, it would be the smartwatch to get.
The Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra (2025) will likely use the new BioActive Sensor for staple features like ECG, heart-rate tracking, and SpO2 measurement, and newer features like Antioxidant Levels, Bedtime Suggestion, Running Coach, and Vascular Load. They will run One UI 8 Watch, based on Wear OS 6, out of the box and get at least four major OS updates.
All the upcoming Galaxy Watches will come in Wi-Fi + Cellular options, buit the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will also have Wi-Fi-only variants.
