Samsung released the stable version of its Android 15-based One UI 7.0 more than two months ago. However, the brand has still not offered the update to all the eligible devices. One of them was the Galaxy F15. Well, not anymore.
Samsung has started rolling out Android 15-based One UI 7 to the Galaxy F15 (via Tarun Vats). It brings many upgrades, which we will discuss in a moment. Since the brand sells this phone exclusively in India through Flipkart, it is the only country to get it.
The update’s size is 3,155.95MB, and it has firmware version E156BXXU6BYE7. Along with the new version of the OS and One UI, the update brings the May 2025 security patch. It fixes many security issues, which you can check out here.
To update your Galaxy F15 to the latest firmware, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. We will soon make it available in our database. You can download it from there and use Odin on Windows to install it manually on your phone.
The biggest change One UI 7.0 brings is in terms of user interface design. You will see new UI elements and icons, a split view for notifications and quick settings toggles, and many other visual changes. It also offers many new features, including Live Notifications and Now Bar.
The former shows the status of ongoing activities, such as the timer of sports score, at the top of the screen, no matter what you are doing on the device, allowing you to keep a tab on them from anywhere. The latter shows the same things at the bottom of the lock screen, allowing you to check them without unlocking the device.
