Samsung announced the Galaxy F70e 5G, its latest entry-level phone, in India last week and the phone has been available for pre-order at a special discount. It is now available for purchase in the country. The phone comes in two colors: Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue.

You can buy the Galaxy F70e 5G via Flipkart, Samsung.com, and select retail stores across India. It is priced at INR 13,999 (~$154) for the 4GB RAM variant and INR 15,499 (~$170) for the 6GB RAM variant. However, for a limited time, you can buy it for a special price of INR 11,999 (~$132) for the variant with 4GB RAM and INR 13,499 (~$148) for the 6GB RAM variant.

We advise you to go with the latter, as at least 6GB of RAM is considered necesary these days for a relatively hiccup-free performance, especially in the long run.

The Galaxy F70e 5G has a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with HD+ resolution, 800 nits peak brightness (in High Brightness Mode), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a U-shaped notch at the top for the front-facing camera. It has an 8MP front-facing camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It can record Full HD (1080p) videos at 30fps using front and rear cameras.

The phone comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot (compatible with up to 2TB cards). It runs Android 16 and One UI 8.0. Samsung has promised to offer six major Android OS upgrades to the phone and security patches for up to six years.

It has Circle to Search, Gemini, and Gemini Live for AI-powered features. It has Knox Vault and Voice Focus as well. Its connectivity features include GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone port. It has a single loudspeaker, unlike most other Galaxy phones that have stereo speakers.

The Galaxy F70e 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, a 6,000mAh battery, and up to 25W fast wired charging.
