Un cycliste britannique de 75 ans, Dave Richards, a reçu une prothèse faciale imprimée en 3D après avoir été gravement défiguré par un chauffard ivre en 2021. L'accident lui a coûté un œil et a laissé des brûlures sévères. Cette prothèse a été créée par le nouveau Bristol 3D Medical Centre, une première au sein du NHS, utilisant un scan numérique pour un ajustement parfait qui lui redonne confiance.
